WaterTank
This group project focused on creating a realistic and evocative texture for a windmill. As the sole texturing artist, my goal was to convey a deep sense of history and decay, making the asset feel truly authentic.
I used Substance Painter to layer and blend materials, with a specific emphasis on heavy rust and wear. The extensive rust is not merely a detail but a key part of the windmill's narrative, suggesting years of exposure to the elements. I meticulously added grunge, scratches, and discoloration to every surface, ensuring that the textures tell a story and make the model feel tangible.
